Live Below The Line is a multi-charity campaign aiming to raise awareness of world hunger. The challenge is to live on £1 worth of food and drink a day for 5 days.
I have been involved with the campaign, and I have also taken the challenge in 2013, raising £200. I have researched companies to promote the event to, contacting them to gain participants and sponsors. I also contact supporters by e-mail and social networking sites to get them involved.
The leaderboards for individuals and groups on the LBTL website encourage people to raise more, and sign up other people; the site also has a good use of multimedia. It brings multiple charities of different sizes together, and raises awareness of Third World issues.
